STUDY CLUB MEETING ONE
New Patient Experience, Treatment Planning & Consultation
October 28, 2008 - Dr. Ron Goodlin


This event will take dentists through all the steps involved in a new patient experience including greeting the new patient, introducing them to the practice, taking radiographs, photographing, imaging the photos and treatment planning using his photographic templates. Then he will show you how to use these templates to create a power point patient consultation presentation. Each participant will receive a template to use at their own office.

Learn how to manage the difficult patient using advanced anaesthesia and patient management skills. Information can be used the next day in your dental practice.

HANDS ON EVENT
Hands On Event : The High Tech Day
November 22, 2008


This full day event will feature an opportunity for members to explore new & exciting technologies offered by such leading dental companies as Biolase, Henry Schein, Ivoclar, Nobel Biocare, Patterson, Synca Direct and Vector Diagnostics. This is a perfect opportunity for members to try out equipment such as Cerec, the Evolution for Dentistry In-Office Processing Machine, the Navigator Diode Laser, T-Scan, Nobel Guide, Teeth in a Day” and others, in a one-on-one close clinical setting.

This meeting will be held at Dr. Arun Narang’s facility at 1344 Cornwall Road in Oakville at 9:00a.m. on Saturday November 22nd, 2008. Breakfast and lunch will be provided.

Introduction to Aesthetic Medicine for Dentists

This presentation will discuss non or minimally invasive cosmetic procedures that could be incorporated into an existing cosmetic dental practice as an addition to an existing practice; or in an actual medical-dental medspa scenerio.

This presentation is being held at the Vaughan Estate of the Estates of Sunnybrook. Formal invitations will be mailed out to TACD members in December 2008.
